This pregnant mama is excited because My Baby Planet Ph is finally here! I am so glad that I still get to experience shopping for the little one in the oven. Nakahabol pa considering na last baby na to. 😊
The store officially opened last Sunday, March 19. I am grateful to my husband for bringing me there on opening day. He knew just how excited I was of this new store. On the outside, I was just smiling while observing people and looking at items, but on the inside, my brain was in giddy mode (from thinking “ang cute nito” to screaming “ay meron nito dito!”) Hahaha!
There were three things I loved about the store – its assortment of merchandise, ambience and location.
This store contains a bit of everything. You can find the usual skincare and feeding items for both mommies and babies here. The store also has baby gears and furniture. And they support both breastfeeding and formula-feeding here by selling breast pumps and infant formula. You can also find assorted laundry, safety, and cleaning products here. And it also has baby clothing and linens. Finally, if you’re looking for vitamins and supplements, they are also available here. It has just about everything!
One additional thing to note about this store is that it has some items that are not commonly available in the Philippines. I remember I used to have a hard time finding swim diapers, dreft baby detergent, medela pump parts, and vicks baby rub. They’re all here!
Here are most of the products in My Baby Planet:
I loved that this store carries well-loved brands like Aveeno, Burt’s Bees, Chicco, Enfant, Fisher Price, Huggies, Medela, Mustela, Nivea, Pampers, Pigeon, Safety First, Vtech, among others. I am the type of customer who would usually stick to a brand that works for me, so this was a plus for me. In fact, I was able to find items that were actually in my To Buy list.
I also like the look and feel of the place. The shelves are well-spaced. The use of white and light-colored wood for walls and shelves together with hanging lights made the space inviting. And I liked the personalized wallpaper (just because I love personalized things). There is ample seating and also a baby changing station. The design team really had mommies in mind when they planned the layout. The place makes you feel relaxed and not rushed. This is the kind of place where you would want to do your shopping.
I also like the location. It’s in Puregold QI Compound in the corner of G. Araneta Ave. and E. Rodriguez Ave. It’s really accessible, even via public transportation. And its proximity with Puregold is a plus, too. There are some baby items that I usually buy that can be found in the grocery, like wipes and shampoo. So it’s kind of a one-stop shop for me. (Hmm, I’m thinking: can they get those grocery items for me while I’m in the store? That would be awesome! I’m going to find out.)
Overall, this store is a great place for those looking for lots of different things for babies. And you get to do your shopping in a relaxed way. These two things matter to most moms. They do to me.
P.S. I’d like to thank my husband, Ivan, for taking all the photos in this post, especially the “ladder shots”. And for getting me more photos even after opening day. Hahaha!
